Lokal musikfestival med internationalt udsyn
I den sidste weekend i juli kan man opleve en festival med musik, film og foredrag i Holbæk Kommune med internationale gæster og den Grammy-vindende danske vokalgruppe Theatre of Voices. På festivalen uropføres værket The Tree of Life af Nigel Osborne med syriske oud-spiller Rihab Azar som solist.
2022 Theatre of Voices Festival byder på spændende musikalske programmer i Skt. Nikolaj Kirke og Hørby Kirke, på Hørbygaard Gods og Kunsthøjskolen i Holbæk. Musikken spænder bredt fra barokmusik til nyskrevet kompositioner - og en uropførelse af et værk, skrevet specielt til ensemblet og festivalen.
Festivalen er støtte af Statens Kunstfond, Det Obelske Familiefond, William Demant Fonden, Wilhelm Hansen Fonden, Weyse Fonden, Korsangernes Fællesråd m.fl.

Local festival with international perspective
In the last weekend of July you can enjoy a festival with music, films and talks in Holbæk municipality with international guests and the Grammy-winning Danish vocal ensemble Theatre of Voices. The piece ‘The Tree of Life’ written by Nigel Osborne featuring the Syrian oud-player Rihab Azar will premiere at the festival.
The 2022 Theatre of Voices Festival offers a variety of musical programmes throughout the weekend in Skt. Nikolai Kirke and Hørby Kirke, as well as on the estate of Hørbygaard Gods and Kunsthøjskolen in Holbæk. You can experience music ranging from baroque to contemporary compositions - and a world premiere of a piece written specifically for the ensemble and the festival.
